This is the account for the OC children of Mycroft Holmes (british_government). As Holmeses, they're more than a little odd, ridiculously intelligent, and do not care about such tedious distractions such as rules and social protocol. They're different, and they know it. The three of them are all two years apart, give or take a few weeks. Why, yes. Their parents did plan it that way. They are all homeschooled, because even Mycroft knows that there isn't a damn school on the planet that can properly handle these children.

The three of them also get on almost amazingly well with Sherlock (hello_freak), who has probably taught them more than a few of their bad habits. Their timeline is more or less on the same level with the Sr Holmes Brothers in milliways_bar, and may react to things that happen over yonder.


Jackson Holmes

Currently age 11; the oldest of the three. Jackson has a very strong interest in computers, particularly when it comes to areas like hacking and viruses. Already, he's released a virus that set any clock connected to the internet or a satellite network to 00:00, which expired after five minutes before resetting back to the correct time. In terms of personality, he's a bit like his uncle, caring little for anything he deems 'boring.'

While he doesn't much care for anyone else's rules, he does follow the rules his father sets without hesitation. Whether this is out of respect for his father, or because he knows his father is some scary government official remains unclear.


Quentin Holmes

Currently age 9; something of the black sheep of the Holmes family (extended or otherwise) Quentin is a rather quiet lad who would much rather be allowed to paint or go out and play football with other kids. He doesn't care much for academia, nor does he understand the family tradition of everybody latching on to something terribly morbid, dangerous, or illegal (or, in some cases, some or all of the above). While his father is trying to insist that he at least pick up chemistry or something 'useful,' Quentin couldn't possibly care less, nor does he understand any practical application it might hold for him.

He's a very big Harry Potter fan, and is starting to get into Lord of the Rings, as well.


Azalea Holmes

Currently age 7; the youngest of the three, and very much Daddy's little girl. She's taken up an early interest in entomology, and likes to keep and collect various insects; some of which she keeps in colonies, and others which she experiments on.

Azalea refuses to wear shoes for nearly any occasion, and will often get somewhat violent if someone tries to force them upon her. Otherwise, she's mostly quiet. She's also very curious, and likes to climb on people.



Jackson and Azalea both detest nicknames of any sort, but Quentin is indifferent. The three of them are also prone to doing stupid or ill-advised things when they get bored, but that's really something that should be expected, all things considered.
